The website and e-learning system for the Pruning Academy were designed for an educational brand that translates pruning into knowledge that is understandable, manageable, and can be easily applied at home.
The task was not just to create an introductory website. There was a need for a digital platform where visitors could quickly understand if the Academy is for them, what problems it addresses, who the instructors are, what courses are available, and easily reach the point of purchase and access the learning materials.
The visual identity of the Pruning Academy already provided a strong, green, professional foundation. The website and e-learning platform needed to extend this by being trust-building, transparent, and user-friendly.
CHALLENGE

There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding pruning. Most garden owners procrastinate not because they are not interested in their gardens, but because they are afraid of cutting at the wrong place, at the wrong time, or too much.
Therefore, the website needed to act not as a cold course catalog. First, the problem had to be precisely identified: struggling trees, diseases post-pruning, uncertain tool usage, conflicting advice. These are the starting points for visitors, not the course structure.
The other challenge was the e-learning part. In an online horticultural course, it is not enough just to have videos available somewhere. The platform needs to assist the learner in knowing where they are, what they have already watched, what they can print, and where they can return to when standing outside next to the tree.

The result is a web and e-learning system that presents the Pruning Academy not as a simple online course site but as a well-structured knowledge platform.
The website starts with real questions from visitors and gradually guides them through the Academy's offerings. Courses have dedicated spaces, the roles of instructors are clearly presented, and the elements of the learning materials make it clear what users can expect even before purchase.
The digital platform of the Pruning Academy offers the same experience that the brand itself represents: pruning is not a mystical science but a learnable, manageable skill that is much less intimidating with a good system.
